In The Beginning…

…Yep, that lil redheaded lassy there with the paper horsey is none other than me, Melody. As you can see, I’ve been pretty passionate about art ever since the day I could eat crayons. Whether it was scribbling away “artistic genius” or covering myself in sticky icky icky acrylic paint, art has always found a place in my life.

Over the years I’ve dabbled in many mediums. From the purist line drawings of a traditional form, to the wacky, creative explorations only us crazy artists truly understand.

Nowadays…

…Cupid’s arrow has struck me hard with a love of all things digitally artsy fartsy. I love painting in Photoshop and absolutely heart my wacom tablet. Here, I share a cornucopia (look mom, I said a big word) of lessons as a digital artist and blogger of 3 years.

Relish in the epic #wins and #fails of an artist coming into her own. Heck, ya may just even learn something!
